Description

Students who have completed HST 701 and at least three other 700-level courses may enroll in the MA 4 Portfolio Preparation Seminar.Students will prepare a portfolio of their MA work, including one research paper (revised since initial submission for final grade in an MA course) and one other piece (possibly but not limited to a second research paper, a historiographical essay, an exhibition in a historical museum, or another appropriate work in public history, pre-approved by the Coordinator of the MA Program). The student will complete the seminar with an oral defense of their MA work before a committee of a minimum of two faculty members. NOTE: This course will be graded as Pass/Fail. This course may be repeated once for credit
