Description
30 hours; 2 credits. Introduction to the scientific methods of inquiry used in research and their meaning in physical therapy practice. This required course provides a foundation that is designed to provide the student with the basic understanding of the scientific method and research design as it relates to rehabilitation. Computer application to statistics will be addressed. This required course provides a foundation that is designed to provide the student with the tool necessary to formulate a research proposal and prepare a proposal for Internal Review Board (IRB) review .
