Description

This course is an introduction to the law pertaining to environmental issues such as population, economic growth, energy, and pollution. Environmental problems are defined and alternative approaches for dealing with them are examined. Existing statutory efforts such as the National Environmental Policy Act, the Clean Water Act, the Clean Air Act, the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Reliability Act, the Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act, and the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act are analyzed.
