The course is designed to broaden students' understanding of the evolution of special education in the contexts of social, economic, and political influences. Students are required to spend 20 hours in a variety of special education settings collaborating with teachers, parents, and professionals from multidisciplinary teams to expand their understanding of the field of special education.
